Scheduling
We know your time is valuable and it can be hard to find time for dental appointments. For this reason, we do our best to cater to busy families by offering convenient hours to help fit dental appointments into your busy schedule. We also strive to run on time so you won’t be kept waiting, and we ask you to arrive on time for your appointments as well. We understand that you are busy, and your time is valuable to us. Dr. Flores only deviates from her schedule in the event of a dental emergency that needs to be taken care of immediately.
If you are new to our family of patients, it may seem out of the ordinary to be scheduled for a 60-minute new patient visit with Dr. Flores and your hygienist. We reserve this time especially for you to ensure that you can receive a thorough dental examination and consultation with Dr. Flores. Our goal is to not only take care of our patients’ dental needs, but also get to know each person by name and treat them like we want our own family to be treated. We are excited to get to know you and your family , and to discuss your oral health and expectations for your smile – we hope to be taking care of your smile for years to come!
Once we have decided on a treatment plan and have worked out financial arrangements, we will do everything we can to proceed with your dental treatment on a schedule that works for you, whether that be soon or at a slower pace. We want to accommodate you.
We ask that you please call at least two business days in advance for changed appointments. Missed appointments without this notification or repeated cancellations will incur cancellation fees. We want to work with you to schedule convenient appointment times for your visits to our office.
Payment Option
Our goal is to help remove financial barriers so you we can provide you and your family with the dental care you need and desire. Prior to scheduling any treatment, we are happy to provide you with an estimate of costs. Many patients have some type of dental insurance and in the majority of cases, we are able and pleased to assist you in maximizing these dental benefits. At your first visit, we will ask you for your current insurance information. We may ask you to confirm this information at subsequent visits, so we can remain up-to-date and fully informed to serve you. Insured patients will receive an estimate of costs broken down by insured and uninsured costs. We ask that you pay the uninsured portion the day services are rendered.
DENTAL INSURANCE
For patients covered by insurance, we will accept assignment of benefits. This means that you sign the portion of your insurance that “assigns” payment to our office. Because most dental insurance plans do not cover 100% of the cost of your treatment, and because of the extreme delay in receiving payment form insurance companies, we ask that you pay the deductible and your portion of charges at the time services are rendered. All estimates are based on information provided to us by your insurance provider and do not guarantee payment. Only after a claim is submitted and reviewed by your insurance company can final payment be determined.
As a courtesy to you, we file claim forms electronically, provide postage for special claims, and track claims for you.
FLEXIBLE FINANCING
We accept cash, checks, debit cards, and most major credit cards. We also offer flexible financing through CareCredit® for those who qualify, because we understand that monthly payments can help patients fit the cost of dental treatment into their budgets. With CareCredit, you can finance 100% of your dental treatment and there are no upfront costs, no annual fees, and no pre-payment penalties. CareCredit offers a full range of payment plans, so you can find one that fits your budget. CareCredit also allows for revolving payments with a variable interest rate and up to 18 months of 0% interest. It can be used by the whole family for ongoing treatment, and you don’t need to reapply. Apply online now!
